From the outset, the Sunshine Beach duplex development was conceived as a departure from the generic. The typical duplex, due to its single layout repetition, is incapable of equitably optimising the qualities of any given site for its occupants. The Sunshine Beach design created residences based around distinct, individual ideas. We saw this as the only way in which unique interior and exterior spaces (maximizing privacy and aspect) could be created to a standard befitting the setting.
